Hi. I am Angela Martin and welcome to Escape to the Country. Today we’re in Koah at number 277 Koah Road and we have this most amazing five acre beautiful American barn style home, and it is just in the most stunning part of the world. If we just have a quick look along here to give you an idea we’ve got about 240 metres of frontage.

Walk this way. Ironbark posts. For anyone who’s ever dug a hole you can see how much love and effort has been put into every single one of these posts, and of course we have the most beautiful African mahogany trees. But for the best part let’s come in and have a look at the house. I know you’re just going to love it.

As we come up the driveway, which is quite a long driveway, which is beautiful wattle trees both sides, on the right-hand side you can see that there’s a paddock, it’s probably about an acre and it’s fully fenced for ponies or horses and of course it backs up onto the front of the the property, but come on up the driveway. We’ve got the house just at the end and to the side of it we’ve got a magic six bay shed. Let’s have a wander.

Welcome to this fantastic American barn style house. We’re in the living-dining area here, we’ve got a toilet just to the right-hand side, we’ve got a main bathroom, and then just around the corner we’ve actually got a laundry, but come this way. Staircase goes up to the master bedroom. We’ve got a living area here, and then round we’ve got another bedroom, but kitchens, love kitchens. This is a beautiful almost brand-new style kitchen. We’ve got gorgeous wooden paint stops. We’ve got brand new electric cooktop, stainless steel oven, we’ve got heaps of space for the pantry. We can just entertain until our hearts content, this really is quite beautiful. Plenty of space for pots and pans, lovely, soft style drawers. You’re going to love it.

Come on up. This is the master bedroom. Sorry it’s a little bit echoey, but there’s no furniture in at the moment. It’s air-conditioned, we’ve got beautiful new laminate flooring, and it looks like we have got huge amounts of space. We’ve got shelves, we’ve got more shelves on this side, we’ve also got a little cubby door that actually goes through into the attic so you can put all your little boxes or suitcases and you don’t have to look at them every day, and it has a gorgeous little view from the back.

One of the fantastic things about this lifestyle property is the endless potential. We’ve just come out the house and we’ve got room here for a three-bay cowshed, essentially you can get one, two, or three cars in, but we’ve got six meters, we’ve got 12 meters and you could just close that in. You could put louvers in it, you could put windows in it, and this would give you a complete outdoor-indoor living.

We’ve got a beautiful little tractor over there, I’ll come back to that in a minute. We’ve got a six bay shed, but the infrastructure, just let me focus for one minute on the infrastructure, we’ve got some solar electricity and it returns to the current owner and is about eight hundred dollars a quarter. That’s huge. The water is just beautiful. We’ve got ADSL2 and we’ve got brilliant internet and mobile reception, and that is really hard to find in a neat little package on a property like this, but let’s go into the garden and have a look.

It’s been a long time since I’ve played in a sandpit, but you imagine how much fun your kids going to have, not only if you got your five acres of usable land, but you can come in here you could even put a pool out there if you wanted to. It’s just fabulous.

I am in love with this tractor. I’m not sure if it comes with the property or not, but you know what, it’s a 60 inch cut tractor. It’s red, my favorite color, and if you just imagine putting on your earphones, putting on your hat, your sunnies, your sunscreen, jumping on that. Life just does not get any better than that. I want one of them.

The dam is absolutely stunning. One of the things I forgot to mention is that this property actually has two entrances. We’ve got one that you can come in and out that way, and we’ve got one that came in the main drive at the very beginning of the video.

The little round about in the middle there, that’s actually got power for lights if you want to. And of course the six bay shed has also got power.

Look at this beautiful magnificent garden. We’ve also got the mango tree, the mulberry tree, we’ve got avocado tree, we’ve got bananas, list goes on. Have a quick wander.

Sorry I just couldn’t help myself. I really, really hope that you have really enjoyed this tour of 277 Koah Road in Koah today. It is lifestyle property plus, and please just bear with me, we’ve got half a minute, just as a bit of a summary, we’ve got a six bay shed that does have power, we’ve got a beautiful house that can be extended outdoor-indoor living, we’ve got our chook pen, we’ve got our sandpit for the children, we’ve got paddock that’s fenced for animals, we’ve got a dam, we’ve got a 28 thousand liter tank, we’ve got a solar power that means that we just don’t have to really worry about electricity, and as I said not a hundred percent sure if this goes with the property but it might be worthwhile asking.
